Trusts and Foundations
Build Africa works in partnership with trusts and foundations around the world to help young people across Kenya and Uganda escape the cycle of poverty. We have been lucky to form relationships with many trusts that support our work and vision. This support is vital in helping us to continue our life changing work every year.
Many trusts and foundations make donations to our general funds, allowing us the freedom and flexibility to develop our projects and plan for the future. At the same time, many trusts wish to donate to specific projects, this allows us to develop and run these projects knowing that the funding has been secured.
We are always looking for more trusts and foundations to support our work. We are committed to providing high quality information to trusts and foundations including detailed proposals to fit your area of interest and regular update reports once you have funded our work. Please feel free to browse our most recent Annual Reports and Accounts for more information. We would be happy to provide hard copies of these documents on request.
Ways in which your trust or foundation could help our work:
- £2,000 can build a toilet block for a school;
- £6,500 can build a classroom for a school in Kenya or Uganda;
- £140,000 could support the education programme in Kenya for a whole year.
If you would like any more information or would like to discuss how your charitable trust or foundation could help young people in Kenya and Uganda work their way out of poverty, please contact Kathryn Russell, Trusts Co-ordinator on 01892 519 619 or kathryn@build-africa.org.uk.
